The Colorado State Board of Education approved Cherry Creek School District’s Teacher Degree Apprenticeship Program, a partnership with the Community College of Aurora that allows aspiring teachers to earn a degree and licensure while working in classrooms.

This week, the Cherry Creek School District will celebrate 75 years and welcome back nearly 53,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. The new NSWL Denver state-of-the-art performance center broke ground Monday morning; a one-of-a-kind partnership between Denver NWSL and the Cherry Creek School District. There was both excitement and tension in the air as six teams of students demonstrated their deep knowledge of 15 books as they vied for the title of Battle of the Books Champion.
