I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado for my Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees. I’ve been teaching at Mission Viejo for 13 years! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and watching sports.

I am from El Paso, Texas and have been teaching for 18 years at 4 different schools in 2 different states. My husband Brian and I live in Aurora with our 1-year-old son.

This is my 11th year of teaching and all of them have been at Mission Viejo. I have taught technology, 3rd grade, and 4th grade.

Katie Brownlee
Hello! My name is Katie Brownlee and I am thrilled to be joining the Mission Viejo team as a 4th grade teacher! I grew up in Illinois, moved to Indiana for college, and have been teaching 3rd graders in Indianapolis for the past three years. I have many relatives in Colorado, so I’m very excited to finally live close to my family (and mountains). Apart from teaching, I love rock climbing, theater, board games, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my friends, family, and my dog, Iroh.
