WEATHER EMERGENCIES

The Cherry Creek School District will make a decision by 6:00 am about closing schools or putting the Storm Schedule into effect.  PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL.  Listen to local radio or television stations listed in the District Master Calendar on days when weather may make driving dangerous.  Stations routinely repeat school closures.

Storm Schedule:  Mission Viejo’s schedule is delayed 1 hour.  The “delayed start” time is 9:00 am.  Dismissal time remains at 2:45 pm.  On Storm Schedule days, all field trips, Before and After school activities, and special school events will be cancelled.

Please take a few minutes with your children and develop an emergency plan of your own.  Make sure he or she knows how to get into your house if you are not home, or to which neighbor’s house he or she might go.
